Share your best finds and favourite detecting videos, upvote and comment. Anyone can read it on the website; posting is in the app. Your locations are never shared.

Reading

The Community tab shows finds and videos from other detectorists. Sort by Hot, New or Top, and filter to coins, relics, buttons, jewelry, tokens or videos. Everything is also public at oldgroundapp.com/community.

Joining

1. Tap + Post (or Settings › Join the community).
2. Enter your email. We send a 6-digit code: no password to remember.
3. Enter the code, pick a name, and agree to the community rules.

Posting a find

1. Tap + Post and choose A find, or tap Post on a find’s card on the map.
2. Pick one of your finds to fill in the photos and details, or add photos yourself.
3. Add a title and, if you like, the story and the state it came from.
4. Tap Post.

Sharing a video

Choose A video, paste a YouTube or Facebook link and tap Look it up. The post shows the channel’s name and plays on YouTube or Facebook.

Your privacy

• Your map locations are never shared. A post shows the state only if you pick one.
• The hidden GPS data in photos is removed before they upload.
• Your email is never shown to anyone.

Keeping it friendly

Tap ••• on any post or comment to report it or block the person. Reports are reviewed within a day. Delete your own posts and comments the same way, or your whole account in Settings › Delete my community account.
