Settings

Units, your detector, path recording, keeping the screen on, public land, offline areas and exporting.

Open Settings with the cog at the top of the Sites, Finds, Community or Old maps tab.

• Units: feet or meters, for distances and depths.
• Your name: as it appears on permission slips.
• Detector: filled in on each new find. Include your program and sensitivity if you like.
• Record my path on visits: draws where you’ve walked on each site’s map.
• Keep screen on: while the map is showing.
• Public land: shading on the map.
• Offline areas: what’s saved for use without signal, and deleting it.
• Community: sign in, sign out or delete your community account.
• Export pins and tracks: a GPX file.

The app’s version number is at the bottom. Include it if you contact support.
